Startup of synchronous generators/motors

A synchronous generator is one of the most widely used electrical machines for generating electricity, both in hydroelectric and thermoelectric applications. It is the most efficient system built so far and it needs to be commissioned by experienced personnel with the right knowledge and experience. Lictronic has invested heavily in studying and updating this branch of electrical engineering, boasting more than 77 commissionings until now.

The staff in our generator and motor starting department are trained to carry out calibrations for the most common brands of electrical protection, acting on the excitation systems on the market. 

A synchronous motor is usually applied in water hydrioelectric reservoirs, in cement factory ventilation systems, in the paper mills for the rotation of drafting lines, where there are users of high power. To ensure smooth operation, the motor must be installed, aligned and adjusted correctly to its load. Lictronic has gained a lot of experience in this field, and the staff is able to provide a comprehensive service, capable of carrying out the activation in a complete way, interfacing with the various regulation management systems.
